Investing, it’s so important.
We want to invest financially early and well so that we are ready for the years when we are older and don’t feel so well. When we are older, then we can enjoy the dividend of investing early and well.
If we are blessed to have children and even grandchildren, we are able to enjoy the dividend of having invested ourselves well in the younger generation in our homes. A year ago last fall, we enjoy one of those moments, when our youngest, Laura (third adult from the right in the picture) was married, and all of our clan was present. So good, so good.
Investing ourselves well, spiritually, also is important. Not only with our biological family, but with our spiritual family, our church, the Church.
This is what Investors here at Grace Church is all about - inspiring and equipping older generations to invest ourselves well in younger generations.
Coming up on the first Saturday of April will be our annual event for those in older generations. We are calling it Investors All-Day. During that day, our main sessions (morning and afternoon) will inspire us to invest ourselves well in younger generations. In-between and before lunch, will be several breakouts which will equip older generations to invest ourselves well in younger generations.
Think about it - from J-Lo to one of our older saints, let’s say Marge Camp. That is the demographic which Investors in trying to serve and to mobilize for younger demographics. Quite a challenge, but we are posturing ourselves to be humble, teachable, curious, and intentional as we seek to inspire and equip to invest ourselves well in younger generations.
